The home page is the web site that displays automatically when you start Internet Explorer or when you click the Home button. Some spyware changes the home page that you set in Internet Explorer. Enabling the shield, will protect your home page from hijacking and will prevent any other program from changing the home page. Some spyware changes the home page that you set in Internet Explorer.

Memory Protection Shield
Enabling this shield will automatically alert you if a spyware is found running in the memory.

Adware Automatically Quarantined
Enabling this shield will keep watch for adware cookies and remove them accordingly.

Configure Spy Clean
Enabling this option will cause Free Spyware Fix to quarantine the software before deleting it. This will help you to check whether all other softwares can run in absence of the spyware. If this option is not selected, then the detected spyware is deleted.

Adware Automatically Quarantined
Enabling this shield will keep watch for adware cookies and remove them accordingly.

Delete Locked files
If any file is opened (locked) by any application, the operation system doesnot allow to delete this file (for example, if you open a word document, youcannot delete it, until you close it). In the case if spyware file cannot be deleted, Free Spyware Fix takes in account "Delete Locked file after reboot" option. If the option "Delete Locked file after reboot" is selected then Free Spyware Fix will ask the user to reboot PC.

After Reboot Free Spyware Fix starts before the other applications and delete this file before the other applications can lock it. If this option is not selected Free Spyware Fix will ignore locked files.
